Should coffee shops sell wine and beer?

I'm taking a poll and would love to know what you think.

I don't know if selling wine and beer is always going to be a good idea. This really is going to have to be tempered by clientel. I do however think that the high end beer and wine drinkers are a great cross-over group and would be more likely to be specialty coffee drinkers. The danger is loss of focus. If something is going to be done, it needs to be done in excellence. So, as long as it can be done well, while not taking away from how well the coffee (the main focus) is done, and it is offered at a shop that can support good beer and wine sales, then by all means!! Bring on the beer and wine!!

A customer is a wine merchant. We are working out an arrangement that he leases my store in the evening for doing just that, transforming my store into an evening wine bar. For a change, I will be a customer!

Here's what I can provide to you since I'm an owner of coffe food and wine establishment. I think its great idea considering were targeting those that have a great palet along with those that are educated enough to form good decision on what they are drinking whether it be coffee, or wine.
