Discovered on the banks of the mighty Willamette river during the mild winter of 2010, the WAC coffee factory creates hand crafted beans deep within Portland’s mysterious Southeast Industrial District.

Envisioned by two long-time friends obsessed with coffee, WAC coffee company is dedicated to bravely pioneering the unseen frontier of micro-roasting craft coffees from countries around the world.

These coffees have been roasted on WAC’s vintage 1974 French Samiac roaster that has spent the majority of it’s life in the Swiss Alps before crossing the Atlantic Ocean and settling in the Pacific Northwest.

Hi, I am Greta Avakyan, a Master student from KEDGE Business School in Marseille; France; doing a marketing research on the barista community as part of a class assignment. I am therefore looking for people that would be willing to answer a few questions;

Such as why you enjoy this community, or how and when you joined the community?

This would really help me out in my project:

Thank you for your help!
