I think the key is to have all your pistons working...having just a web site is not enough....you have to have blog (s), actively participate in the social web (web 2.0), join various industry organizations and groups, get listed in directories, create a fan base..etc. Also you might want to incorporate things that are not even related to your business. For example I get lots of referrals from my internet radio station! Plus it keeps me entertained.

I am here, hope to get more good suggestions on extending our tamper business in the world. Let more and more baristas get the good quality tamper and competitive price for enjoying coffee making. Thanks!

I am trying just getting on as many sites like this for starters. This is my 5th full year almost 6 as an internet only based coffee business! Patience is the number one attribute needed! Persistance is the second and a true passion for coffee is a must!

Lately I have lowered prices and business has been growing VERY well! I also find niche keywords to Search Engine Optimize for. It usually takes a month or 2 to see results showing in the top 10 Google searches, but now that I am there it is just as hard to stay in the top ten of a Google search!

I hope I can give some good advice and I am always willing to hear any criticism, help or advice!

I hope no one considers this as spam, because thats not what I'm trying to do. I would like to share a network that since joining 3 weeks ago, Ive had 662 visits to my profile. And 457 contacts linked to 816,178 networks. Direct Matches is an excellent tool for promoting yourself free, and you will have heaps of people wanting to know about you and your business. This hasnt been some prescripted marketing hype as you can probably tell from my grammar. But this is worth having a look at. If you want to see, have a look at my DirectMatches profile here.

Well the potential volume discount is only part of the equation but in fact that aspect of the "theory" is indeed unproven in my experience. Offering choice is certainly a competitive advantage in mature markets like San Francisco, Portland, and Sea…
