Love it, i remember drinking my 1st vac pot like it like it was yesterday. Rather good, pretty bright. Really it's so fresh in my mind it seems like earlier today. Actually it was today. thanks.

We mine as well all get together for blueberry pie sometime. We've been brewing Nat. Sidamo the past few days. I believe it's the semi-forest natural that zephyr is offering right now. I've been picking through vac pot suggestions/techniques a-la coffeegeek and Kyle Glanville's Boing Boing interview. Has anyone chosen between leaving the coffee in for the upkick or waiting to stabilize the temp and then adding the coffee?

That's two votes for Natural Sidamo's!

I tried one for the first time on Tuesday and was blown away. Everything was so clean with full flavor. The coffee was also a Natural Sidamo, so lots of buttery blueberryness.

I am always looking for new and better ways to achieve that "perfect cup". I have not tried the Vac Pot...so I would love to hear about it's virtues. I like the "science lab" effect...it looks fun.

I'm using a 5 cup Yama with a butane burner. Currently I've been brewing our Sidamo Gerbichu Lela on it. How about you Chris?
