But, solving the mystery of Seed to Green is essential for you because understanding the entire chain of production will give you an edge over your competition.

So I decided to ditch the pen and paper and take the leap into Quickbooks.

One thing that I am trying to decide is whether or not I should keep inventory on my green coffee or not. From what I've heard, using this module can actually double the time you spend entering data into quickbooks.

Whether you keep inventory or not, I'd like to know your reasons why and the pitfalls to not doing a certain option.

I am new to the coffee roasters group. I am very serious about purchasing my first commercial roaster this year and I would love some recommendations on what brand/type of roaster to purchase. I've read discussions on other forums that seem to contradict themselves. I am looking to purchase a roaster that can handle at least a 10lb charge. (that's 10lb roasted) I have about $10K to invest.

Hi im newbie for this roasting things. Planning to buy a home coffee roaster. Is FreshRoast good enough? Are there will be any difference quality between small roasting machine and the big one for Industrial? Or it is only the quantity that makes the difference?

Total time of roasting was 14,35 min, color of beans are №11 of Agtron Scale (Medium "Full City"). We try to roast coffee for filter-machine & taste of coffee are nice, but little bittle dirty. BUT i heard that temperature of drum at the begining must be around 200 C... Also i heard that high temperature of roasting give flat taste of espresso... Can somebody tell me something about that?
