Since there has been little action here other than the goody requests, I would like to pass this on. The Coffee Fest: Minneapolis June 4-7th and Seattle Oct 29-31.has many offerings for classes including a 3 hour machine maintenance class every morning. I am going and paying for the class!!

I believe these classes are taught by Terry Z from espresso parts, and I can for sure say he is a great instructor. I would highly recommend the classes.
I know how to back flush and do daily maintenance. I want to know how to adjust temperature, boiler volume etc. I hope he goes beyond the rudimentary.

Richard,
Will you be attending the Minneapolis fest?
Joe
Hi Joe,
Yes, I am taking the Maintenance class on Saturday morning and plan to be there all days. I know just enough about the machines to get into trouble even though I have rebuilt a few.

I hope to meet some of the folks from here and other forums. If would be nice if we were to designate a meeting spot where folks could show up on any hour on the minute if they want to meet with others from the forums. I have forgotten the layout since the Championships but will see when I get the materials and set a location then..

I would love to meet you Richard. If anybody wants to come by our booth #1022 (Espresso Me Service) I will gladly answer your espresso repair questions. Just say you saw it on Barista Exchange and I will help you out.
