What have you guys had and liked/disliked? There are quite a few out there now.

Perkulator from Darkhorse Brewing Company is pretty good, but honestly I haven't had too many coffee beers.

I dig me the Perkulator Coffee Doppleboch.

But i have to say that i love the Espresso Love Breakfast Stout. This might be bias cuz they're both made with ugly mug coffee :o)

I will say this, I am not a fan of Kings Mocha Java Stout. It kinda tastes like horse asshole (and no, i don't know what horse asshole taste like).
it tastes like my thumb.....
Bloomington Brewing Company in Bloomington, IN does a real nice Java Porter. Its a seasonal and only available at a few local joints, but very tasty.
Try the "Meantime coffee porter". It doesn't necessarily taste like amazing coffee, but I feel it has one of the better all around profiles of all the coffee beers I've tried.
Rogue Mocha Porter = gross (sorry rogue, I love you, but this beer is a huge swing and a miss)
Bells Java Stout = wayyyy too sweet and fake tasting (two hearted is the best beer ever though)
can't remember the names of all the others, but Meantime stands out among all of them.
Great divide brewing makes a great oak aged espresso stout "yeti"... Who's tried Mikkellers Beer Geek Breakfast? Pricey, but if you've had it, you know what I'm talking about!
Surly brewery in Minneapolis has the Coffee bender, and it is out of this world
speaking of mikkeler have you tried the beer geek brunch, made with weasel coffee.

Surly coffee bender is now my favorite coffee beer. Everyone in the area (its only in the twin cities and surrounding areas) needs to try this beer. I think they're using cold press coffee, and it is delicious.
Sunking in Indianapolis, Java Mac it is a Scottish style Brown Ale with a nutty coffee cold brewed in the beer.
Yes,yes, yes and I haven't even read the posts above yet. I'm still trying to get our local craft brewery to get another coffee stout or what ever going with my beans.
They mentioned it almost a year ago....
Meantime's Espresso Porter is a really good porter; I like that it doesn't hit you on the head with coffee. Locally, the Carolina Brewery does an awesome Jumpin' Bean Coffee Stout with Counter Culture's Sumatra Gayo. Both of them are more about the malt than any coffee flavor though. I just like the idea of it, and I do think it makes for a richer taste. Kind of like when you cook with coffee. I make spice rubs with coffee all the time and people are always surprised to hear that there's coffee in them. But it adds something really fantastic to the other spices and the meat.
