I am looking into purchasing a roaster to begin roasting on my own and selling B2B and B2C. I know Diedrich and others are preferred, but can anyone give me some insight on Primo roasters. Are they reliable, well built, worth the investment? thanks in advance.
I just got a Primo roaster, in the process of setting it up and making some modifications to it.
From what I've read and learned they are very reliable and almost all the parts can be purchased at your local Grainger store. I know that the person who started primo was one of the main engineers at diedrich.
It does have limits as far as flame control and air control but that can be modified pretty easily.
Hope this helps
