Hi,

Yesterday one of my co-workers spilt coffee on the keyboard of his pismo Powerbook. He carefully dried it out, but it won't start up. Even if he disconnects the keyboard (following some advice from elsewhere on the net), it still won't start-up from the powerkey (although this does produce a response - a very quiet click sound!).Any advice I can pass on?If the machine needs to go back to Apple, he's going to want to try and rescue data from the HDD first (an un-backed up thesis on there!). Presumably he can just put the HDD on his G3 tower as a second drive, using an IDE adaptor??

Any help will be apprecited.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
