Three years ago started as mcKona Koffee based on years old online forum nick name stuff. Really turned out to be a mistake since not located on the Islands! Year and a half ago struggled with coming up with a new name and went with Nor'West Coffee. Unfortunately the words "Nor'West Coffee" have challenges search engines wise and even url, had to drop the apostrophy. One of the names I ruled out back then was Compass Coffee because the domain both .com and .net were taken. Compasscoffee.net a consulting firm in the UK and .com still just parked! Recently decided to go with Compass Coffee anyway since already using a compass as part of Nor'West logo and use compasscoffeeroasting.com until we could buy compasscoffee.com.

FINALLY have a new website (mostly) done and took it LIVE last night. Wasn't the site that's been being "professionally" worked on for about 6 months on and off (person moved out of area) but rather one Bry and I have been feverishly working on building the past week. Who knew you could use free blog site software and customize for a quite respectable website!

www.compasscoffeeroasting.com or www.norwestcoffee.com both work (while transitioning name)

Our new shopping cart system allows easily created discount codes and so I did. A "forever" BX 10% discount using code BXer10 (case sensitive) and a early "check out the new site" discount of 25%, code BXer25 good through the end of August.

?? Link in OP? Does not compute.
Did discover slideshow banner not displaying correctly with Firefox, Mac & Win same issue. Displays WAY off to the right. Explorer and Safari ok...
Duh, OP = Original Post. Fixed. Thought you were referring to a link in "OP" at the site, hence the confusion! Been working TOO many hours:)

Mike, you are just the awesomest coffee phreak out there! Thanks for the BXer love! If ever I come to Portland, Compass will be on my list to visit! (Of course, Bry said he'd be hurt if he didn't get to take me coffee crawling, so what's a guy gonna do, right?)
Congrats miKe and Bry,
I know your "feverishly working on building the past week" pain, so to speak. Thank the coffee gods we got the website stuff mostly done, ( it's never really done as you know). I can't wait to visit again and have some of the best 'spro in the PNW. Thanks for the BX discount. Nice marketing tool.
Best to you guys,
Joseph
