Are any of you on Google Wave? Using Waves to talk coffee?

Well, I just got my Google Wave invite, and am still trying to figure it out, but have started a wave talking about pre-infusion of espresso and it's affects. Wanna join? Let's join some people up!

I just signed on (anthony.rue (at) googlewave), but have to admit that without the ability to add people to build my own wave workgroup it might be a while before I have the time or patience to figure out how it will be useful for me.

Yeah, Anthony, I'm with you. Trying to figure it out, although I'm sure once we all get the hang of it, it's gonna be a cool way for us to converse more regularly and hip.

I just started a Coffee and Espresso Geeks public wave to gather as many coffee/espresso geeks together. Let's see how this goes down. You can find it by searching with:public coffee.

The best roaster is any roaster that meets your quality standards that's reasonably close. Freshness counts for a lot in coffee, and even though you need to rest espresso before using it, it's better to have it in your shop so you can have some flex…

Cincinnati Coffee Emporium is an amazing, yet often underestimated and/or largely undiscovered, roaster. Their Ol' Black Magic espresso blend is out of this world and their SO selection is solid.

Well the potential volume discount is only part of the equation but in fact that aspect of the "theory" is indeed unproven in my experience. Offering choice is certainly a competitive advantage in mature markets like San Francisco, Portland, and Sea…
