Event Description

Nov. 8th, Dilworth Coffee will play host to the First Annual Barista Bash and Latte Art Throwdown. (This will be held during the SCAA Regional Skill Building Workshop weekend.) There will be special guests, and if you plan to throw down, you better bring your A game. Got it? Bring it. AMAZING Prizes will be given to the top baristas! All competing will receive a prize package! Prizes for the top three are INCREDIBLE! Will be MC'd by Octane Coffee's Ben Helfen, a previous Millrock Latte Art Champion and organizer of Atlanta's Thursday Night Throwdown!
Also, special guest DJ Pez will be manning the turntables. Don't recognize the name? Well, here's a hint, he's the Southeast Regional Barista Champion, and last month's cover story for barista magazine. He also rocks the sweetest dreads I have seen.

Prizes are as followed for the Latte Art Throwdown.
1st Place- Home Espresso Package which will include a Rancilio Silvia, a custom engraved 1st place tamper, and a spouted bell pitcher!
2nd Place- (2) Nights luxury accomodations at this year's SCAA Conference in Atlanta, a custom engraved 2nd place tamper, and a spouted bell pitcher.
3rd Place- (1) year Barista Guild membership, (1) year subscription to Barista Magazine, and (2) Bellissimo DVDs, as well as a spouted bell pitcher.
All competitors will receive a Rattleware 16oz. Spouted Bell Pitcher. My favorite pitcher for pouring art!
There will be other door prizes for the event!

Rules are this: ONE Pour, $5, all money is going to charity. First 15 people get a spot.

I can't wait to attend. I'll be coming from the Norfolk Virgina area. I could give a ride if anyone needs it. Like I said I am willing to work the event with you.
